CHWK were delighted to call to the amazing kids in the 5th and 6th classes of Scoil INSE Ratha in Little Island for the first of their school education programs.
These kids were given a presentation of the story of Cork Harbour Waterkeeper, Waterkeeper Alliance and Swim Guide about the hazards we face with both plastic pollution and water contamination.

The children are doing an art project to create the slogan for SOLUTION TO POLUTION and will be given certificates to make them members of Cork Harbour Water Guardians.

Round 3 of our shoreline cleanup in little island. 65 bags of plastic bottles, tyres, fishing nets, Styrofoam boards and corrugated plastics sheets. Still more work to be done to finish the job.
