Scoil Inse Ratha in Little Island

CHWK were delighted to call to the amazing kids in the 5th and 6th classes of Scoil INSE Ratha in Little Island for the first of their school education programs.

These kids were given a presentation of the story of Cork Harbour Waterkeeper, Waterkeeper Alliance and Swim Guide about the hazards we face with both plastic pollution and water contamination.

Pictured here is Gavin Murphy our educator and Noel Sheehan Waterkeeper and Executive Director.

The children are doing an art project to create the slogan for SOLUTION TO POLUTION and will be given certificates to make them members of Cork Harbour Water Guardians.
